Job Summary 

The  Business Communications Manager supports Lubrizol Advanced Material’s TempRite business by developing and executing communication plans that support strategic business initiatives. This role acts as the central point of contact for these communication initiatives and manages the projects from concept to completion. As such, they must be able to conceptualize, drive, and articulate creative and strategic recommendations in a highly consultative manner while ensuring an effective creative execution across a wide range of media and content channels. They must be able to work both locally and globally as their stakeholders are located throughout the America’s, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. 

This includes traditional Outbound Marketing tactics, Content and Inbound Marketing, Digital Marketing - Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Marketing Automation, Email Marketing, Social Media amplification, and Influencer Marketing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage content marketing strategies, email marketing support and social media amplification including the ability to orchestrate the details and measure results
  • Recommend, write and execute effective communication plans that support business goals on a regional and global level.
  • Marketing persona and workflow optimization and refinement
  • Manage video and webinar-based training programs
  • Coordinate cross-functional team activity (Subject Matter Experts, Content Verifiers, Legal Compliance, Lead Nurturer, Demand Creation)
  • Provide timely updates of project progress and KPI performance to all levels
  • Lead effort to identify, establish and implement best practices for marketing communications strategy
  • Identify gaps in current capabilities and develop action plans to refine them
  • Serve as campaign project manager
  • Effectively manage conflicting priorities among multiple stakeholders to ensure project focus is aligned with business objectives.

  • Effectively manage expectations regarding marketing communications deliverables.
  • Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or related discipline 
  • 5+ years of marketing communications experience in a B2B & B2C corporate environment
  • Thorough understanding of traditional and inbound marketing and advertising principles
  • Inbound marketing strategy certification and execution
  • Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet business requirements and deadlines
